As the Detroit Lions prepare for their Week 4 matchup against the Seattle Seahawks, they are hoping to improve their record to 3-1 before heading into a bye week.

This game is crucial for the Lions, who have had mixed results so far, particularly on offense. Despite high expectations, their passing game hasn’t fully clicked yet. A key factor in their air attack is tight end Sam LaPorta, who has been dealing with an ankle injury but seems likely to play on Sunday, according to ESPN’s Field Yates.

LaPorta, who had a standout rookie season with 86 catches, 889 yards, and 10 touchdowns, has been quieter this year, recording only eight catches for 94 yards across three games.

While the Lions are currently ranked 16th in points scored, their running game has been a bright spot. Running backs David Montgomery and Jahmyr Gibbs have combined for 438 yards and four rushing touchdowns.

However, the team’s quarterback, Jared Goff, has struggled, throwing four interceptions. With the Minnesota Vikings starting the season at 3-0, Detroit faces stiffer competition in the NFC North this year.
