Reports indicate that Atletico Madrid is interested in acquiring Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson for the upcoming 2024/25 season.
The Senegalese forward, who transferred to Chelsea from Villarreal for £35 million, had a challenging first season at Stamford Bridge.
During the 2023/24 campaign, Jackson made 44 appearances for Chelsea, scoring 17 goals and providing six assists across all competitions. Despite his contributions, he frequently found himself in the spotlight on social media for missing key opportunities in various matches.

According to the Daily Mail, Jackson has emerged as a primary target for Atletico Madrid. The report suggests that Jackson has become “disgruntled” under the management of Mauricio Pochettino, prompting him to consider a move away from Chelsea.
However, TalkSport reports that Chelsea plans to retain Jackson, with new manager Enzo Maresca preparing for the upcoming season. The club is expected to reject any offers for the forward, aiming to integrate him into their future plans.
As the transfer window approaches, it remains to be seen whether Atletico Madrid will succeed in their pursuit of Jackson or if Chelsea will manage to keep their talented Senegalese striker.
