As the Rocket Mortgage Classic enters its final round at the Detroit Golf Club, Akshay Bhatia and Aaron Rai stand neck-and-neck at the top of the leaderboard.

Both players have shown exceptional form throughout the tournament, ending the third round tied at 17-under par. Their performances include Bhatia’s impressive 64 on the first day and Rai’s strong 65 on Friday, setting up a thrilling showdown.

On “Moving Day,” both golfers carded a solid 68, maintaining their lead. Close behind them are Cam Davis and Cameron Young, just one shot back. Davis, who claimed victory at this tournament in 2021, is looking to replicate his past success, while Young and Rai are each seeking their first PGA Tour win. Bhatia, already a winner this season at the Valero Texas Open, aims for his third career title.

In the mix are notable names such as amateur Luke Clanton, Min Woo Lee, and last year’s champion, Rickie Fowler, among 18 players within five shots of the lead. The competition is fierce, promising an exciting conclusion to the tournament.

Final round tee times begin early, with Bhatia and Rai teeing off at 2:00 pm ET. Golf fans can catch the action on Golf Channel and CBS in the US, and Sky Sports in the UK.

As the competitors prepare, anticipation builds for what promises to be a memorable finale at the Rocket Mortgage Classic.
