According to reports, Chelsea has lined up few options to replace their summer signing Robert Sanchez who have failed to perform to expectation in his first stint at Stamford Bridge.

The club is ready to sanction the departure of of the Spanish goalkeeper to land Valencia shot stopper Giorgi Mamardashvili as replacement according to HITC report. Also on the list is Arsenal out of favor goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale.

Sanchez arrived Chelsea from premier league side Brighton & Hove Albion in the last summer transfer window for £25M as their designated first choice goal keeper.

However after tough start to life at Stamford Bridge occasioned by inconsistency, goalkeeping errors and recently injury concerns, The Blues doubt his abilities to remain as the number one choice going forward.

Sanchez has made 16 Premier league appearances this season so far, conceded 22 goals and kept 3 clean sheets. In the league cup, he made 3 appearances , conceded 1 goal and kept 5 clean sheet before he picked a knee injury in his last match against Everton early this year.

In his absence , 24 years old Serbian Goalkeeper Djordje Petrovic stepped in as replacement and has been phenomenal, helping Chelsea to reach the Carabao cup finals .

Chelsea however, does not see Petrovic as an ideal replacement for Sanchez and are looking outside for new targets.

23 years old goalie Mamardashvili has been very consistent for Valencia with his performances and huge potentials, attracting interest from Chelsea. Valencia will try to keep him as his contract runs till the summer of 2027 but Chelsea are willing to test their resolve.

Aaron Ramsdale is and option should Chelsea fail to land Giorgi Mamardashvili next summer.

The England international is open to a move away from the Emirate having grown frustrated with his lack of game time and preference of David Raya in the starting role by Spanish coach Mikel Arteta .
