Napoli forward Victor Osihmen is open to a move to the premier league in the summer.

Recent reports Confirmed Arsenal has joined the race to sign Napoli forward Victor Osihmen in the summer ahead of other European giants including their London rival  Chelsea and Paris Saint-German.

Amidst interest from the two London giants, the narrative shifted recently when reports surfaced of Paris Saint-Germain expressing interest in the striker as a potential successor to Kylian Mbappe.

According to David Ornstein, Osimhen is a key contender on PSG’s radar to fill Mbappe’s shoes, with the club intensifying talks since January in anticipation of Mbappe’s potential exit.

Osihmen recently spoke to the media  about speculations surrounding his future.

In the media chat, Osihmen claimed he has already ‘made up his mind on his next step’.

“I already know the next step that I want to take, so for now, I just want to finish the season strong,” Osimhen said.

“[Then] go and relax somewhere with my daughter, think about my life, and then finally come out with the decision I’ve already made.”

Before that, Osimhen also answered a question about whether he wants to play in the Premier League.

“Of course, one day, definitely,” the centre-forward responded. “But for now, I have other plans in my career that I am looking forward to.”

The Nigeria international signed one year contract extension contract valid till 2026 after his camp reached an agreement with the club with a release clause of £113M.

Arsenal are reportedly willing to meet his valuation and entice him with a lucrative deal that will pay him weekly wages slightly above £250k currently earned at Napoli, been their highest paid player.
