Judge’s early two-run homer set the tone for the Yankees, who were eager to bounce back after a five-game winning streak was halted in the previous night’s series opener. His 426-foot drive into the left-center bullpen in the first inning not only boosted the Yankees but also added to Judge’s league-leading RBI count, now standing at 103.
Yankees Manager Aaron Boone praised Judge, acknowledging the privilege of witnessing his exceptional talent. The Yankees’ offense was further fueled by Anthony Volpe and Trent Grisham, who each launched two-run homers off Toronto’s starting pitcher José Berríos.

This offensive surge supported Carlos Rodon, who delivered a solid performance on the mound, striking out eight over 5 1/3 innings to secure his third consecutive win.
Despite a home run from Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and his continued hot streak, the Blue Jays could not muster enough to challenge the Yankees’ dominance. Guerrero, who is enjoying a remarkable 16-game hitting streak, provided the lone bright spot for Toronto with a solo shot in the first inning.
