AS Roma appears willing to part ways with Tammy Abraham, as Everton intensifies its interest in acquiring the striker, according to a report by Corriere dello Sport.
The Italian outlet reported on August 10 that Abraham is high on Everton’s transfer list. The Serie A team is scheduled to play the Toffees in a pre-season friendly at Goodison Park, which could further negotiations for the player’s transfer.
Roma’s sporting director, Florent Ghisolfi, is also in Liverpool with the squad, which has fueled speculation about a potential deal. This visit could present Everton with a unique opportunity to finalize terms for the former Chelsea forward.
Despite a previous setback with Dan Friedkin’s unsuccessful takeover bid of Roma, the relationship between the two clubs remains positive. This ongoing connection could be pivotal in facilitating Abraham’s move to Merseyside.
