Las Vegas Raiders fans are growing increasingly frustrated with ESPN’s latest take on the team’s quarterback situation.

ESPN’s recent prediction suggests that Gardner Minshew may initially start the season but could be replaced by rookie Aidan O’Connell, who might start most games.

This analysis implies that despite strong defensive performances, the Raiders will still struggle offensively, finishing last in the AFC West.

The most contentious part of the prediction is the suggestion that the Raiders might pursue Kirk Cousins in 2025. This idea has struck a nerve with fans, given Cousins’ recent massive contract with the Atlanta Falcons and his age, not to mention the fact that he’s recovering from a significant Achilles injury.

For many Raiders supporters, the thought of bringing in Cousins, who they see as past his prime, feels like a bad match for the team’s future ambitions. Raiders fans are left wondering if ESPN is simply throwing out ideas without much thought, as they’ve also previously linked the team to Dak Prescott.
