Detroit Lions’ coaching staff has received high praise, with ESPN’s Ben Solak ranking them as the second-best in the entire NFL.

Only the Kansas City Chiefs, a team with two recent Super Bowl victories, are rated higher. Solak’s analysis emphasizes the strength and cohesion of the Lions’ coaching, led by head coach Dan Campbell.

Campbell is lauded for his strategic decision-making, particularly in high-pressure situations, such as crucial fourth-down and two-point plays. His ability to make the right calls, even in 50-50 scenarios, has earned him the unwavering support of his team, which was evident during last season’s NFC Championship Game.

Solak describes coaching as an “exercise in maximization,” and credits Campbell with excelling in this area.

This recognition highlights the significant progress the Lions have made under Campbell’s leadership, setting high expectations for the upcoming season.

The team’s strong coaching foundation is seen as a key factor in their continued development and potential success.
