NFL legend Rob Gronkowski believes that Las Vegas Raiders tight end Brock Bowers could surpass his own achievements in the league.

In an interview on the “Up and Adams” show, Gronkowski lauded Bowers for his explosive start to the NFL and suggested that the young star is on a trajectory to be even better than him.

“The guy is a winner. The guy is a playmaker. Whenever the ball is thrown to him, I love his explosiveness after the catch. I think he’s on track to be better than myself,” Gronkowski said.

Bowers, a first-round pick from the University of Georgia, has quickly made an impact in his rookie season. After just two games, Bowers has already recorded 156 yards on 15 catches, leading the Raiders in receptions and outpacing all tight ends in the league.

His performance was critical in the Raiders’ comeback win against the Ravens, and his 156 yards set a franchise record for tight ends in their first two games.

Gronkowski’s comments carry significant weight, as he is widely regarded as one of the greatest tight ends in NFL history. If Bowers continues this level of play, he may indeed be on track to carve his name alongside, or above, Gronkowski’s in NFL history.
