Liverpool are reportedly gearing up for a bold move to acquire Everton’s highly-rated young defender, Jarrad Branthwaite, during the January transfer window, according to the Daily Mail.
The 22-year-old centre-back has garnered significant attention, especially from Manchester United, who had two bids for him turned down by Everton during the summer.
With the departure of Joel Matip, whose contract expired, Liverpool is eager to bolster their defensive options.
