Former New York Jets coach Rex Ryan didn’t hold back when discussing Davante Adams’ trade request from the Las Vegas Raiders.

Speaking on ESPN’s Sunday NFL Countdown, Ryan expressed his frustration with Adams’ desire to leave, despite the wide receiver’s strong reputation.

“If a guy doesn’t want to be in your locker room, get him the h— out,” Ryan said, referencing potential trade discussions involving Adams and stating he’d accept a deal for Mike Williams and a second-round pick “in a New York minute.”

Ryan emphasized the importance of team chemistry, suggesting that even without Adams, the Raiders might be better off.

“They may be a hell of a lot better in the locker room. If a guy doesn’t want to be there, to h— with you. I’d much rather win with my type of people,” he added.

Adams, a six-time Pro Bowler, was a second-round pick in 2013 and became a standout player with the Green Bay Packers before moving to the Raiders.

However, after a decline in his 2023 production, he formally requested a trade, citing a desire to reunite with Aaron Rodgers, now with the Jets.
