Everton will look to build on their recent momentum as they welcome Fulham to Goodison Park for Saturday’s evening kickoff.

Sean Dyche’s side aims to secure crucial points ahead of a challenging December fixture list. With tough matches looming, now is the time for Everton to bolster their position in the league.

Marco Silva, Fulham’s head coach, returns to his former club and shared his excitement about the occasion.

“I am looking forward to visiting Goodison Park one final time,” Silva admitted.

The match presents an opportunity for both teams to improve their standings, as a win for Everton would place them level on points with Fulham, who currently sit tenth in the table.

In his Metro column, Alan Shearer predicted a close contest between the sides, expecting a draw.

“I mentioned Everton’s experienced win over Ipswich last week, and whilst this will be a tougher test, I think it could be a draw, and that wouldn’t be bad for both teams,” Shearer wrote. “Fulham are coming off a defeat to Villa, but they missed a penalty at 1-1, and the game may have played out differently. Draw at Goodison Park.”

Paul Merson, another football pundit, is less optimistic about Everton’s chances, predicting a Fulham win.

“Everton were spectacular against Ipswich Town, they never looked like they were in the slightest of troubles. But this is a bigger test, no doubt,” Merson commented. “If I’m being honest, it’s a really tight game to call. But I just think Fulham will get the three points.”

Despite the lack of full support from pundits, Dyche’s team remains determined to keep their momentum going. With a loss potentially dragging them back into the relegation fight, Everton must capitalize on their improved form this weekend.
