Las Vegas Raiders’ star defender Maxx Crosby has broken his silence after a recent report confirmed he will miss the remainder of the season due to an ankle injury requiring surgery.

Despite the team’s tumultuous 2-11 record, Crosby has been a consistent bright spot, amassing 45 tackles and 7.5 sacks in 12 games this year. He managed these impressive stats even while facing double or triple teams on nearly every play.

The Raiders have faced relentless misfortune in 2024. They lost All-Pro receiver Davante Adams to a trade, starting quarterback Gardner Minshew to a season-ending injury, and their prized free agent, Christian Wilkins, to another serious injury.

Additionally, three offensive staffers were dismissed mid-season. Now, Crosby’s absence adds to their woes, making an already difficult year worse.

However, Crosby remains determined and committed to the franchise. In a message to his fans on social media, he expressed optimism and resilience, stating:

“To All My Fans… I Love Yall. Back Better Than Ever. #Limitless.”

While trade rumors swirl around him, his desire to stay with the Raiders is unwavering.
