Cam Calhoun, a former Michigan signee who later transferred to Utah, recorded 21 tackles, nine pass deflections, and one interception in 2024. With the potential departure of cornerback Domani Jackson, Calhoun’s presence could bolster Alabama’s secondary.
Kam Dewberry, a versatile lineman from Texas A&M, has played 32 games and may fill roles at offensive tackle or guard, likely becoming a starter in 2025.
Kelby Collins, an Alabama native returning from Florida, recorded 29 tackles, 1.5 sacks, and one forced fumble over two seasons. His ability to play both defensive end and tackle strengthens the defensive line. Nikhai Hill-Green, with 206 career tackles across multiple schools, could replace Jihaad Campbell at inside linebacker, ensuring depth and leadership.
Wide receiver Isaiah Horton joins from Miami, where he tallied 70 receptions, 790 yards, and six touchdowns. Standing at 6-foot-4, Horton could become a key deep threat for Alabama’s offense.
Overall, these transfers address critical needs for Alabama. Additional depth at safety, offensive tackle, and kicker could further solidify the roster for a strong comeback in 2025.
