England international Bukayo saka has recovered from illness in time to face Brentford while Gabriel Martinelli’s return is not certain.
Arsenal’s winger, Bukayo Saka, is anticipated to make a full recovery in time for Saturday’s Premier League clash against Brentford, following his early substitution from Monday’s game against Sheffield United due to illness.
Despite feeling unwell leading up to the match, Saka’s determination saw him play for 45 minutes, contributing to Arsenal’s 6-0 victory.
The 22-year-old’s condition has since improved, allowing him to participate in training sessions ahead of the upcoming fixture against Brentford.
In addition to Saka’s potential return, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is optimistic about the recovery of Gabriel Martinelli, who sustained a foot injury during Monday’s game.
The team’s focus now shifts to their encounter with Brentford, where a win could propel them to the top of the Premier League table, with rivals Liverpool and Manchester City not scheduled to play until the following day.
