Arsenal values 26 year old  Scottish defender at £20m as summer exit looks likely.

Since his acquisition by Mikel Arteta from Celtic in 2019, Kieran Tierney now 26 years old, has encountered limited opportunities to feature prominently for Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.

Despite his talents, he has often been relegated to a backup role, notably behind summer acquisition Oleksandr Zinchenko. Consequently, Tierney, the Scottish international, opted to seek regular playing time elsewhere, leading him to agree to a loan spell with Real Sociedad until the culmination of the current season.

With less than two years remaining on his contract and a diminishing role within his parent club’s setup, the likelihood of Tierney’s permanent departure come the summer transfer window appears increasingly inevitable.

Recent reports from GiveMeSport suggest that Arsenal is prepared to offload the defender, provided any potential buyer meets their valuation.

The Gunners, eager to reclaim Premier League glory for the first time since 2004, are reportedly setting the starting point for negotiations regarding Tierney’s transfer fee at £20 million.

Additionally, Tierney’s representatives have expressed openness to exploring opportunities abroad, reflecting the player’s willingness to ply his trade beyond the English borders.

Throughout his tenure at the Emirates, Tierney has showcased his prowess, representing Scotland on 39 occasions.

His contributions on the field include five goals and 14 assists across 124 appearances in various competitions, underscoring his value and potential as a versatile full-back.

As the transfer speculation swirls, Tierney’s future remains a subject of keen interest for both Arsenal and potential suitors as they navigate the intricacies of the upcoming transfer market.
