After missing out on Xavi Simons, who is likely to join RB Leipzig on loan, Bayern Munich is now intensifying efforts to secure Désiré Doué from Rennes.

Having already made two bids for the 19-year-old winger, Bayern is prepared to invest around 60 million euros to bring Doué into their squad. Known for his versatility in both wide and attacking midfield roles, Doué is a sought-after talent, attracting interest from top clubs like Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea, and Arsenal.

However, Doué has expressed a preference for Bayern Munich over these other clubs. Bayern has already bolstered their attack by signing Michael Olise from Crystal Palace and is open to parting ways with Kingsley Coman and Serge Gnabry.

Doué, currently representing France at the Olympic Games, has made 76 appearances for Rennes, scoring eight goals and providing seven assists.
