Chelsea is reportedly closing in on Crystal Palace duo Eberechi Eze and Michael Olise

Chelsea’s hopes of signing Crystal Palace stars Michael Olise and Eberechi Eze have received a significant boost as Palace is reportedly close to finalizing a deal for Daichi Kamada.

The Japanese attacking midfielder, currently with Lazio, is expected to join Palace on a free transfer when his contract expires next month, reuniting with former manager Oliver Glasner.

This potential signing could signal a readiness from Palace to part ways with Olise and Eze, both of whom have been linked with moves to Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea, widely reported to announce Enzo Maresca as  their new manager after Mauricio Pochettino’s departure, remain active in the transfer market.

Enzo Maresca is anticipated to take the managerial helm, and the club is keen to secure top talents to strengthen the squad.

Olise and Eze have been standout performers for Crystal Palace, and their potential availability has intrigued Chelsea. Palace has reportedly set a £60 million price tag for each player, a valuation that Chelsea will need to consider carefully, especially with Financial Fair Play (FFP) regulations in mind.

Chelsea’s interest in these players is part of a broader strategy to revamp the team following a mixed season.

The acquisition of Kamada by Palace may indirectly facilitate the exits of Olise and Eze, thus benefiting Chelsea’s transfer plans.

With the summer transfer window approaching, Chelsea is poised to make significant moves to bolster their squad. Fans and analysts alike are watching closely as the club navigates managerial changes and pursues high-profile signings.

The developments at Crystal Palace, particularly the nearing completion of Kamada’s deal, could pave the way for Chelsea to make their move for Olise and Eze.
