€100m worth French defender Leny Yoro, has caught the attention of three European giant.
Chelsea and Barcelona have been actively scouting Leny Yoro from Lille, as reported by HITC. However, Yoro is reportedly eager to join Real Madrid, according to a report from Marca.
Despite his interest in a move to the Spanish giants Real Madrid, negotiations this summer are anticipated to be challenging for these clubs.
Lille is demanding €100m (£85m) for the 18-year-old central defender, a price tag likely to deter potential suitors. With Yoro’s contract expiring in 2025, there’s the possibility for Chelsea, Barcelona and Real Madrid to secure him for free next summer.
Additionally, Chelsea has been keeping tabs on one of Yoro’s teammates from Lille. Although Yoro may have the option to sign for either Real Madrid, Barcelona or Chelsea, a transfer might not materialize until 2025.

Despite his promising performances for Lille, averaging three clearances per game in Ligue 1, the £85m valuation seems steep for a teenager nearing free agency. Nonetheless, his abilities have caught the attention of three of the biggest clubs globally.
While Yoro’s current form may not justify the high valuation, Lille is determined not to lose him, believing he has the potential to develop into a world-class center-back.
It remains doubtful whether Chelsea would be willing to meet such a high price, but they are expected to pursue the France U21 international or another center-half in the upcoming transfer window.
With Thiago Silva likely departing at the end of the season and Benoit Badiashile plagued by injuries, Chelsea’s need for defensive reinforcements is evident.
