Nottingham Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis was forcibly removed by security following Nottingham Forest’s defeat to Liverpool, with Mark Clattenburg criticizing the officiating that led to Darwin Nunez’s late goal.
Nunez scored in the 99th minute, securing a 1-0 win for Liverpool and extending their lead in the Premier League.
Forest was left furious by a controversial incident earlier in stoppage time when play was incorrectly restarted after a head injury to Ibrahima Konate.

Forest coach Steven Reid received a red card for confronting the referee, and Marinakis, visibly angry, also expressed his frustration pitchside after the match.
Former referee Mark Clattenburg who works in an advisory position with Nottingham Forest is expected to liaise with the chief referee officer Howard Webb as required.
Clattenburg, spoke to the media following Liverpool’s late victory.
He said:“I wanted to go into his dressing room but he wouldn’t allow [me] to,” Clattenburg said.
“The owner’s quite upset, because they fought, he’s invested a lot of money in the football club and he wants to see results. He feels that another decision has gone against the football club.
“Today there was another example where the law is quite clear. The law states that if the referee is going to stop the game – which he’s entitled to if he feels there’s a head injury – the ball has to go back to the team that has possession. Nottingham Forest clearly had possession.
“You can understand the frustration tonight; things seem to be going against Nottingham Forest Football Club. We just hope the luck changes in the future.”
