Dak Prescott finds himself entangled in a newly unveiled investigation by the Dallas police regarding his alleged involvement in a sexual assault incident dating back to 2017, as confirmed on Thursday.
The reported incident purportedly occurred within the confines of the XTC Cabaret’s parking lot around February 2, 2017, as disclosed by the Dallas Morning News.
This revelation follows closely on the heels of a separate investigation initiated by Prosper, Texas police, spurred by Prescott’s claims of extortion.

Amidst these developments, the NFL remained reticent on the matter when approached earlier in the week, while Stephen Jones, the executive vice president of the Dallas Cowboys, offered a statement during the PBR World Finals press conference on Thursday.
Earlier in the week, Prescott launched a counteroffensive, alleging in a lawsuit filed in Collin County that a Fort Worth woman had falsely accused him of sexual assault in a bid to extort $100 million from him.
Notably, Prescott had met with Prosper police four days before filing the lawsuit, as disclosed by his attorney, Levi G. McCathern, to the Dallas Morning News.
McCathern asserted that the interaction between Prescott and his accuser was consensual, albeit refraining from elaborating further.
In contrast, Yoel Zehaie, the attorney representing the woman, vehemently maintained that Prescott had indeed assaulted his client, indicating that a civil lawsuit is imminent, as conveyed during an interview with 105.3 The Fan on Tuesday.
Zehaie also hinted at the possibility of pursuing criminal charges in due course.
