The Dallas Cowboys’ season continues to spiral following a series of setbacks, including five consecutive losses and two devastating home blowouts.

The absence of starting quarterback Dak Prescott, sidelined for the season with a hamstring injury, has further strained an already struggling roster riddled with injuries. However, physical ailments are just one piece of the puzzle in Dallas’ unraveling season.

Tensions appear to extend beyond the field, with a perceived disconnect between team ownership and head coach Mike McCarthy. The Cowboys’ front office has hinted at a significant financial overhaul next season, with $100 million in projected cap space, while McCarthy’s future as head coach looks increasingly uncertain.

Former Cowboys star Dez Bryant recently weighed in on social media, attributing some of the team’s woes to strained chemistry between McCarthy, Prescott, and star receiver CeeDee Lamb. Bryant also suggested that linebacker Micah Parsons’ podcast has stirred organizational tensions, though he noted its positive focus on accountability.

While Bryant’s analysis resonates with some fans, others point to deeper structural issues, including an underperforming roster and lack of cohesive leadership. With seven games remaining, these internal challenges seem poised to define the Cowboys’ tumultuous season.
