Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams has expressed his thoughts on the team’s front office consulting him about quarterback decisions.

As the Raiders navigate their quarterback situation, which has seen veteran Gardner Minshew starting over Aidan O’Connell, Adams revealed his feelings during an interview with Kay Adams on the Up and Adams show.

“The fact that they trust me enough to ask for my opinion or get my ‘approval’ is definitely a good feeling,” said Adams, addressing the Raiders’ approach. “I’m a player. I get paid to play; I don’t get paid to make those types of decisions with personnel and all that. The fact that they care enough and they trust me enough to ask for my opinion or get my ‘approval’ is definitely a good feeling.”

The Raiders’ quarterback choice remains a talking point after their slow 1-2 start to the season, with Minshew retaining the starting role despite a crushing loss to the Carolina Panthers.

Adams, who has had 18 catches for 209 yards and a touchdown this season, has previously voiced dissatisfaction with former Raiders quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo, making his input on future decisions particularly significant.

As the season unfolds, questions linger about whether the team will consider turning to O’Connell or pursue a new quarterback in the future if results don’t improve.
