“I’ve won two club championships—regular ones, not senior. To do that, you need to be smart and hit the ball far, which I can. He can’t hit a ball 50 yards,” Trump declared.
Biden, unfazed, retorted that he would be happy to engage in a driving contest, claiming a handicap of six when he was vice president.
“I’ve got my handicap down to a six,” Biden said, adding, “I’m happy to play golf if you carry your own bag. Think you can do it?” Trump scoffed, calling Biden’s claim “the biggest lie” and suggesting his true handicap was eight. The exchange culminated in Trump taunting, “I’ve seen your swing. Let’s not act like children,” to which Biden responded, “You are a child.”
