Former President Donald Trump proposed taking North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un to a New York Yankees game to help him “relax.”

At a rally in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Trump recounted his interactions with Kim Jong-Un, emphasizing their good rapport and the safety of the U.S. under his administration.

Trump shared his advice to Jong-Un, urging him to ease up on his nuclear ambitions. He recalled telling Jong-Un, “Just relax. Chill. You got enough. You got so much nuclear weapons.” He suggested they attend a baseball game together, either watching the Yankees or a Michigan home opener, to offer a distraction from his focus on nuclear weapons.

This isn’t the first time Trump has recounted stories from his meetings with Jong-Un. At a 2023 rally in Rapid City, South Dakota, Trump claimed he had advised Jong-Un to develop North Korea’s shoreline with condos to become “rich as hell.”

Despite Trump’s suggestions, he noted that Kim Jong-Un remains fixated on amassing nuclear weapon.
