This comes after successfully reducing a previous 10-point penalty to six points earlier in the season for similar breaches in the previous reporting period.
The club expressed concern over the inconsistency of sanctions applied by different commissions.
The Premier League initially sought a five-point deduction, but an independent commission reduced it to two points citing mitigating circumstances, as Everton faced punishment twice in overlapping periods.
Premier League regulations limit clubs to a maximum loss of £105 million over three years, with Everton admitting to exceeding this by £16.6 million.
The appeal process must conclude within five days after the Premier League season ends on May 19.
Everton, currently two points above the relegation zone, aims for clarity before the season’s final Sunday. They face Chelsea tonight in a crucial match.
