Bournemouth have set their sights on signing El Bilal Toure after Everton decided against pursuing the 22-year-old Mali international, according to a report from Calciomercato.

On August 7, it was revealed that Atalanta was interested in acquiring Everton’s Beto and was willing to offer Toure in exchange. However, Everton declined the offer, leading Bournemouth to enter the fray with a keen interest in signing the versatile forward, as reported by Sport Witness on August 8.

Toure, who can play across the front line, could have been a valuable addition to Everton, providing manager Sean Dyche with more tactical flexibility and options in attack.

At just 22, Toure’s potential for development could have made him a promising long-term investment, with his value likely to increase over time. His playing style, characterized by speed, dribbling, and goal-scoring ability, might have been better suited to Dyche’s system compared to Beto, a more traditional target man.

This decision leaves Everton looking for other options, while Bournemouth now moves forward in their pursuit of Toure.
