Everton is reportedly considering parting ways with striker Beto during the January transfer window, depending on how Armando Broja performs after recovering from injury.

According to Graeme Bailey, the club hopes to have the Chelsea loanee fully fit and contributing by the New Year, which could open the door for Beto’s exit.

Juventus has expressed interest in the 26-year-old Portuguese forward, with the Italian club also eyeing Dominic Calvert-Lewin due to his contract status. Bailey noted that if Broja regains form under manager Sean Dyche, Everton may feel comfortable letting Beto leave.

Beto has found limited playing time behind Calvert-Lewin this season, and with Broja and Youssef Chermiti yet to make an appearance, Everton faces challenges managing its attacking depth. Though Calvert-Lewin’s fitness has improved, the club remains cautious about relying on him or Broja, both of whom have had injury setbacks in recent years.

Chelsea is covering Broja’s costs until he joins Everton’s matchday squad, giving the Toffees more flexibility. However, allowing Beto to leave mid-season might leave the squad thin unless Broja impresses soon. Juventus could pursue Beto on loan if Everton decides to make room for Broja.
