Everton are set to finalize the loan acquisition of Jesper Lindstrom from Napoli today, having successfully passed his medical examination, according to Sky Sports News.
Manager Sean Dyche has been keen to bolster his squad, and despite a failed takeover bid, the club is fully supporting his efforts. Danish winger Lindstrom, a target for Dyche, will join Everton on a loan deal worth €3m. The arrangement includes an option to make the move permanent next summer for an additional €22m.
Lindstrom, 24, who moved to Napoli from Eintracht Frankfurt, struggled to make an impact in Italy.
Napoli is willing to let him go and hopes he performs well enough at Everton to prompt a permanent transfer. The deal is nearly finalized, with an official announcement expected later today.
