Fireworks are set to go off in Austin, Baton Rouge, Columbus, or Eugene tomorrow evening as five-star wide receiver Dakorien Moore, from Duncanville, Texas, will reveal his college choice.
The top-ranked wide receiver in the nation will decide between LSU, Ohio State, Oregon, and Texas.
Moore initially committed to LSU last August but reopened his recruitment in May. Since then, he has kept his options open and made official visits to all four schools, with Texas hosting him in mid-June and Oregon being his last stop.
The Longhorns have felt optimistic since Moore’s de-commitment from LSU. However, the competition remains fierce, with Oregon gaining momentum in their recruiting class and Ohio State’s reputation for producing NFL-caliber receivers under Brian Hartline.
Moore expressed his gratitude towards the Texas coaching staff, including head coach Steve Sarkisian, for their hospitality during his official visit. He remains appreciative of all the schools and coaches involved in his recruitment.
As the clock ticks down to his decision, anticipation builds among fans and coaching staff alike. Can Texas land another five-star prospect from Duncanville in back-to-back cycles? The answer will be revealed on July 4th, setting off a celebration in one lucky college town.
