Eddie Nketiah’s future at Arsenal remains uncertain as transfer speculation continues to swirl around the striker.
Throughout the summer, several clubs have shown interest in the 24-year-old, but no concrete move has materialized yet. Marseille initially made a couple of offers for Nketiah, but Arsenal rejected them, holding out for a €30 million fee.
The French side eventually turned their attention elsewhere, opting to bid slightly more for Elye Wahi instead.
Subsequently, Bournemouth, having sold Dominic Solanke, identified Nketiah as a potential replacement. However, they too decided to pursue another option, ultimately securing the services of Evanilson from FC Porto for over £40 million. This development led Bournemouth to drop their pursuit of Nketiah, as reported by Sami Mokbel.
Despite Bournemouth pulling out, there are still Premier League clubs monitoring Nketiah’s situation.
Sky Sports News has reported that both Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forest are considering making a move for the Arsenal forward.
Crystal Palace, in particular, is keen on adding a striker to their squad, with Nketiah being a primary target as he seeks more regular playing time.
Nketiah made 37 appearances for Arsenal last season, although only 13 of those were starts. He has featured throughout the pre-season and was part of Mikel Arteta’s squad in their recent match against Wolves.
However, with Arsenal open to selling if the right offer comes in, Nketiah could still be on the move before the transfer window closes.
