Nottingham Forest has secured their sixth signing of the summer as they prepare for the upcoming Premier League season.
The club has arranged for a medical for their latest recruit, signaling an active transfer window for the team. Previously, Forest added five players, including Elliot Anderson from Newcastle United for £35 million and Serbian defender Nikola Milenkovic to replace Moussa Niakhate.
The club also signed goalkeeper Carlos Miguel, and young talents Marko Stamenic and Eric da Silva Moreira from Red Star Belgrade and St Pauli, respectively.
Despite these additions, Forest is expected to continue its recruitment efforts, with plans to bring in at least five more players. Portuguese winger Jota Silva is set to join the team, with a verbal agreement in place for a deal worth €7 million upfront plus potential add-ons.
Silva, who has been compared to Manchester City’s Jack Grealish, scored 11 goals and provided 7 assists last season, and is anticipated to bolster Forest’s attacking options.
