Reports from Mundo Deportivo reveal that Flick, a strong advocate of Gavi’s dynamic playing style, intends to assign him a crucial role in Barcelona’s new formation.

Flick plans to implement his preferred 4-2-3-1 setup, positioning Gavi as one of the two central pivots in midfield.

The 19-year-old is seen as an ideal fit for this deeper role, balancing both defensive duties and playmaking responsibilities. Within the club and Gavi’s camp, there is confidence that he can excel in this position, adapting his game to support Barcelona’s tactical needs.

Gavi himself is reportedly eager to embrace this role, aiming to contribute significantly on both ends of the pitch. This strategic positioning is set to enhance his influence in Flick’s system, promising a central role for the Spanish international upon his return to full fitness.
