Georgia’s four-star quarterback commit, Ryan Montgomery, will miss his senior season after suffering an ACL injury during a game against Central Catholic.

Montgomery, who had completed 2-of-3 passes for 33 yards before exiting, announced his injury update on X.com.

“I am heartbroken to announce I will miss the rest of my Senior football season with my teammates and coaches due to an ACL injury that requires surgery,” Montgomery stated. He expressed his commitment to supporting his team from the sidelines and emphasized his faith, saying, “God has a plan for me… I am going to continue to just trust in the Lord as he will always have my back.”

Despite this setback, Montgomery remains focused on his future at the University of Georgia. In an interview with 247Sports, he emphasized his work ethic, stating:

“I am going to be the first one in the facility and the last one to come out. They are going to get a special player.” Montgomery also praised the stability and culture at Georgia, noting, “I know Coach Smart and Coach Bobo… are not going anywhere. The sustained success, the culture there, is truly unmatched.”

Montgomery, ranked No. 111 overall by 247Sports, led Findlay to an 8-3 record last season and has consistently showcased his skills, breaking records and earning accolades along the way.
