Jake O’Brien, a sought-after defender from Lyon, has piqued the interest of clubs not only in the Premier League but also in Italy during this transfer window.
Previously eyed by Wolves, who were deterred by Lyon’s £25m asking price, O’Brien is now being monitored by Everton, Nottingham Forest, and Brentford, all contemplating bids.
According to L’Equipe, his impressive performances this season have also captured the attention of Serie A clubs. Despite the Italian interest, O’Brien is likely to favor a move back to the Premier League, where he has previous experience.
