Juventus and AC Milan have finalized terms for the transfer of French center-back Pierre Kalulu, according to multiple reports in Italy.

The deal, which was initially sparked by Juventus’ bid earlier on Monday, sees Kalulu moving to Turin on a season-long loan. The agreement includes an option for Juventus to make the transfer permanent later in the season.

Juventus will pay Milan €3.5 million for the loan, with an additional €14 million plus €3 million in potential bonuses if they choose to retain Kalulu. Additionally, Milan has secured a 10% sell-on clause in the event of any future transfers. However, while the clubs have reached an agreement, Juventus still needs to finalize personal terms with the player.

It’s reported that Kalulu, a 2021-22 Serie A champion with Milan, had already expressed his desire to leave the Rossoneri before Juventus made their move.

Having made 84 appearances in Serie A, Kalulu’s next step could significantly impact his career and Juventus’ defensive lineup.
