Norwich City has decided to sell winger Jonathan Rowe, who has only 12 months left on his contract, creating an opportunity for Leeds United.

Leeds has been tracking Rowe’s situation since their discussions with Norwich about Gabriel Sara. This development is particularly favorable for Leeds, as they are keen to secure a new winger following the departure of Crysencio Summerville.

After a recent victory against Valencia, Leeds manager Daniel Farke acknowledged the need to find a replacement for Summerville. Although a verbal offer of £7 million was previously made by Leeds, it was deemed insufficient by Norwich.

Meanwhile, Wolverhampton Wanderers also showed interest in Rowe but later withdrew, easing the competition for Leeds. Despite this, Leeds must act swiftly as other clubs are still in the market for Rowe.

His positive experience playing at Elland Road could also work in Leeds’ favor as they seek to finalize a deal under £10 million.
