Patrick Mahomes remains undisturbed by the recent antics of the Las Vegas Raiders.
The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback, known for his resemblance to Kermit the Frog, shrugged off a training camp video featuring Raiders players mocking him with a puppet dressed in his likeness. The 28-year-old, often teased for his voice, has grown accustomed to the comparisons. Despite this, the Raiders’ latest jab may prove unwise, given Mahomes’ impressive 10-2 record against them, throwing for 3,573 yards and 30 touchdowns during these games.
At a Friday press conference, Mahomes addressed the mockery, stating that his focus isn’t on the Raiders at the moment. He confidently implied that the Raiders will face the consequences of their actions when the teams meet later in the season.
With Kansas City having dominated the AFC West and Mahomes being a two-time MVP and reigning back-to-back Super Bowl champion, the Raiders’ attempt to taunt him only adds fuel to his competitive fire. Mahomes’ calm response suggests he is ready to let his performance on the field do the talking when the time comes.
