Manchester City stars returns from injury to face Real Madrid in the UEFA champions league semi-final return leg at the Etihad Stadium.

Manchester City is preparing for an eagerly awaited UEFA Champions League encounter against Real Madrid at the Etihad Stadium this Wednesday.

After a 3-3 draw at Santiago Bernabeu, the fate of the match hinges on this second leg. The reigning European champions have received a significant boost with the imminent return of two key players from injury.

According to reports from The Telegraph, Pep Guardiola is likely to have Kyle Walker back in action after a three-week absence due to a hamstring issue sustained while on international duty with England.

Although Walker was an unused substitute in the recent victory over Luton Town, his return is anticipated, adding depth to the squad.

Manchester City right back Kyle Walker was on the bench against Luton in their last premier league victory at the Etihad Stadium.

In addition to Walker, John Stones, who missed the Luton Town clash due to an injury picked up in the first leg, is expected to be fit for the crucial match against Real Madrid.

With goalkeeper Ederson also returning to the lineup, Guardiola has nearly a full squad at his disposal for Wednesday’s encounter.

Despite the impressive performances of Bernardo Silva, Phil Foden, and Josko Gvardiol in the first leg, Manchester City couldn’t secure a victory. However, they hold the advantage of playing at home and aim to replicate their dominant 4-0 win over Los Blancos in the previous season.

Furthermore, Manchester City’s position at the top of the Premier League standings has been strengthened after both Arsenal and Liverpool suffered defeats.

A win in the upcoming Champions League fixture would propel them to the final, while they also eye success in the FA Cup semifinals, intensifying their pursuit of a second consecutive treble under Pep Guardiola’s leadership.
