Manchester United coach Eric Ten Hag is set to leave his role at the club by the end of the season as the new stake owners will favour a regime change.

Manchester United is expected to end Erik ten Hag’s time at Old Trafford this summer, with reports from club insiders consider him a ‘dead man walking’.

The Red Devils are enduring another challenging season and are facing difficulties in qualifying for next season’s Champions League. Currently, Ten Hag’s team sits sixth in the Premier League table, trailing the top four by eight points and leaders Liverpool by a significant 16 points.

Manchester United finished at the bottom of their Champions League group, leaving the FA Cup as their only opportunity for silverware this season as they are scheduled to face bitter rivals Liverpool in the quarter-finals.

The pressure on Ten Hag has increased with several recent signings failing to impress. This comes after a promising campaign last season, which saw a third-place finish in the Premier League and winning the League Cup.

With Sir Jim Ratcliffe completing his minority investment in the club and taking control of football operations, changes are expected in the summer.

reports claim Eric Ten Hag has lost support of the dressing room, as players are no longer comfortable with his methods.

According to reports from TEAMtalk, club insiders believe Ten Hag will be sacked in the summer. Some players no longer have faith in the Dutchman’s methods, and Ratcliffe and his INEOS colleagues are keen to hire a new manager in the summer.

Earlier reports before the 25% stake take over of Manchester United by INEOS group suggested that Sir Jim Ratchliffe had identified former Brighton and Chelsea British coach Graham Potter, as replacement for Ten Hag.

The pressure on Ten Hag could escalate further this weekend as Manchester United visit champions Manchester City, who previously won 3-0 at Old Trafford earlier in the season under Pep Guardiola’s leadership.
