Moises Caicedo, Cole Palmer, and Nicolas Jackson were enlisted to reinforce Mauricio Pochettino’s squad, aiming to enhance its competitive edge.
Jackson, secured from Villarreal for £32m, stood out as one of Chelsea’s more economical acquisitions. However, opinions about him post-transfer have been diverse.
Despite the initial skepticism, Micah Richards foresaw Jackson’s potential early in the campaign, and his prediction is gradually being validated.
Jackson’s transition to Chelsea at 22, without prior Premier League experience, raised questions.
Nonetheless, Richards remained optimistic about the Senegal international’s prospects, envisioning significant contributions to the team’s success.

“I think the good thing that I was impressed with is that he runs in behind.
“How many times last season did you watch Chelsea and everyone was coming to the ball? It was too easy. You knew what they were going to do.
“He’s bringing excitement. He’s bringing a freshness. I think he’s going to be a star this season.”
Jackson’s journey to maturity as a player is far from over. Despite acknowledging his missed opportunities and expressing a desire for more goals, he has still managed to score 12 times in 32 appearances, indicating a respectable performance.
His ability to position himself for chances is a positive indicator, despite occasional lapses in finishing.
Notably, since his arrival at Chelsea, Jackson has made significant contributions, including recent goals in consecutive Premier League matches against Newcastle United and Brentford, as well as a memorable hat-trick against Tottenham Hotspur earlier in the season.
