Shakhtar Donesk CEO advice Mauricio Pochettino on how to get the best out of Mykhailo Mudryk.
Sergiy Palkin tells Mauricio Pochettino that the easiest way to get the best out of the Mykhailo Mudryk is to spend more one-on-one sessions with the Ukrainian which will boost his confidence and bring out the star in him.
Sergiy claimed that having worked with the player closely and seen his potentials and performances before, he believes Mudryk is the most “unique talent”.
Speaking during a media session on beIN SPORTS, Sergiy Palkin said:
“I can tell you that, for me, Mudryk is the most talented and unique player in the world. I believe that in order to get the maximum from Mudryk, as they anticipate, you need to invest in him. And these investments are not money. The investment is time with the coaching staff to communicate with him and to work closely with him.
“He is a young boy and he changed from the Ukrainian Championship for the English Premier League. It’s a completely different world, with completely different levels, with football that’s completely different. I believe that if the coaching staff dedicates some time to him, he will return three, four or five times more.”
Misha as popularly called, completed his move to Chelsea in January 2023 for £89M transfer fee, after rejecting Arsenal’s offer.
The 23 year old could not manage a single goal last season but has scored three this season in nineteen premier league appearances for Chelsea with recent reports suggesting Chelsea may listen to offers for the Ukrainian in the summer having failed to meet the club’s expectations.
