During their recent clash against West Ham United, key players Jamaal Lascelles, Miguel Almiron, and Tino Livramento were forced off the pitch due to injuries. While Almiron and Livramento may return before the season concludes, Lascelles faces a prolonged spell on the sidelines.
Newcastle isn’t alone in their injury woes, as Brentford trails closely behind with nearly 1,400 days lost, impacting their performance as they currently sit in 15th place.
Other clubs grappling with significant injury woes include Sheffield United, Chelsea, Crystal Palace, and Brighton, each surpassing 1,200 days missed.
In contrast, West Ham United has enjoyed relative stability on the injury front, with fewer than 400 days lost despite their participation in the Europa League.
Wolverhampton Wanderers follow closely behind, with Everton leading the pack with over 600 days lost to injury, followed by Manchester City, Fulham, and Bournemouth.
