Nick Castellanos once again delivered when it mattered most for the Philadelphia Phillies in their Game 2 showdown of the National League Division Series (NLDS) against the New York Mets.

Despite boos from the home crowd earlier in the game after struggling to make an impact, Castellanos turned things around in the bottom of the sixth inning. With the Phillies trailing 3-0, Bryce Harper ignited the comeback with a two-run home run. Castellanos followed Harper’s lead with a game-tying solo home run, leveling the score at 3-3.

The drama continued into the ninth inning with the score tied at 6-6. Castellanos sealed the win with a walk-off single, driving Trea Turner home to secure a crucial victory and tie the NLDS at 1-1.

However, the most heartwarming moment came after the game. As Castellanos celebrated with his teammates, he rushed over to embrace his son, Liam, in the stands, creating an unforgettable father-son moment.

With Game 2 in the books, the Phillies head to Queens, hoping to finish the series on the road.
