LIV Golf CEO Greg Norman strongly refuted recent claims by Golf Digest that Jon Rahm is dissatisfied with his decision to join LIV Golf and wishes to return to the PGA Tour.

The report, written by Jaime Diaz, quoted an unnamed “veteran Tour insider” who suggested that Rahm would eagerly return the substantial $600 million fee he received to join LIV Golf if given the chance.

Norman, however, dismissed the claims as unfounded, expressing disbelief during the LIV Golf Greenbrier broadcast.

“I read an article yesterday about how Jon is so unhappy here [LIV Golf] and that he wants to give back his money. It’s just not true. You speak to Jon’s general manager, it’s laughable,” Norman stated.

He expressed confusion over the ongoing division between LIV Golf and the traditional golf ecosystem, asserting that LIV Golf is integrating successfully.

Meanwhile, Rahm himself reacted to the article with humor, dismissing the claims as fabricated and far from the truth. He remarked during a rain delay that Golf Digest “just makes sh*t up,” further underscoring the disconnect between the article and his actual sentiments.
