Nottingham Forest has made a third offer ranging between €20-25 million for Eintracht Frankfurt forward Omar Marmoush, as reported by journalist Florian Plettenberg.
Forest is eager to strengthen their attacking options before the transfer window closes and has turned their attention to Marmoush after failing to secure Santiago Gimenez from Feyenoord.
Despite the increased offer, Frankfurt is reportedly holding out for a more substantial bid, seeking at least €30 million plus add-ons.
The German club remains reluctant to part with Marmoush unless their valuation is met, considering the striker’s importance to the team. Marmoush, who joined Frankfurt on a free transfer last season, has proven his worth with 17 goals and eight assists in 43 appearances, making him a valuable asset for the club.
Nottingham Forest’s persistence in pursuing Marmoush underscores their determination to bring in a quality forward. However, with Frankfurt standing firm on their demands, it may require a fourth bid for Forest to get the deal over the line and secure the Egyptian international.
