Nottingham Forest is reportedly preparing a bid for Nicolas Gonzalez, a highly-regarded winger from Fiorentina, as they continue to strengthen their squad for the upcoming Premier League season.
This follows the recent signing of Jota Silva from Vitoria Guimaraes, marking Forest’s sixth acquisition of the summer.
Gonzalez, 26, recently enjoyed an outstanding season in Serie A, scoring 16 goals and providing five assists for Fiorentina. His impressive performances on the pitch were capped off by winning the Copa America with Argentina, where he played in all but one of the tournament’s matches.
Such achievements have naturally attracted interest from several clubs, including Brighton and Juventus, who are also keen on securing his signature.
