Nottingham Forest and West Ham United are intensifying their pursuit of Udinese’s Jaka Bijol, alongside other European clubs.
According to recent reports from Messaggero Veneto, both Premier League clubs have made contact regarding the Slovenian center-back, who is also attracting interest from German sides VfB Stuttgart and VfL Wolfsburg.
Bologna, another contender, has been informed by Udinese that they will need to meet a minimum valuation of €25 million to secure Bijol. However, Bologna faces stiff competition, with the Premier League duo posing a significant threat to their hopes of signing the 25-year-old.
A month ago, Udinese’s technical director Nani acknowledged interest from the Premier League, hinting that Bijol could be sold if a convincing offer is presented. West Ham, in particular, has been linked to numerous players during this transfer window, with Nottingham Forest not far behind.
The situation remains fluid as multiple clubs continue to vie for Bijol’s signature.
