Ahead of the highly anticipated matchup between Wisconsin and No. 4 Alabama, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel’s football coverage team shared their predictions for the game, set to take place Saturday at Camp Randall Stadium in Madison.

Mark Stewart sees this game as a significant test for the Badgers, especially as they approach Big Ten play.

While concerns linger about Wisconsin’s defensive line, Stewart focuses on how the offense will perform. After scoring 28 points in Week 1 and 27 in Week 2, Wisconsin still has something to prove offensively. Despite the challenges, Stewart expects Wisconsin to be competitive, especially playing at home. His final prediction: Alabama 27, Wisconsin 17.

JR Radcliffe, on the other hand, is less optimistic about Wisconsin’s chances of pulling off an upset.

He acknowledges the unpredictability of the Badgers’ performances in recent years but doesn’t believe they will have enough to defeat Alabama. Radcliffe points out Alabama’s tendency for slow starts, as seen in their game against South Florida, but ultimately predicts a dominant win for the Crimson Tide: Alabama 35, Wisconsin 10.

These predictions highlight the uphill battle Wisconsin faces against the highly ranked Alabama team.
